Services - Sinusitis
Sinus infection is the more common term recognized for Sinusitis. Sinusitis can be acute (sudden onset) or chronic (long lasting). There are a number of causes for sinusitis. See video below for more explanation regarding both of these types of sinus infections.
What causes sinusitis?
Sinusitis can be caused by viruses, bacteria, or fungi. This is especially severe if the patients having poor nasal passages that restrict the normal drainage of fluid from the sinuses into the nose and throat. It is also important to pay attention to the time of year when this is more prevelant given seasonal allergies can exacerbate the drainage problem.

However, there may come a time where you will need to get a prescription from your doctor. If you are considering a Rhinoplasty, otherwise known as nose surgery, you are welcome to request an appointment for an evaluation. There are a limited number of patient's that may only find a long-term solution via surgery. Since surgery is a big commitment, Dr. Armani may recommend a second opinion.
